Swamp Ugly to Mount Success...
...can be a long but rewarding trek.
After a long challenging time finally, the trail truly starts.
Before wasting time trying to sort through massive amounts of choices and determine what is right for you, you need to understand where you are and where you want to go.
Think of the following:
- What are your objectives and understanding of the coaching and mentoring cycle?
- What is your niche and what do you plan to do?
- What is your Bottom-Line-Up-Front Problem Statement?
- What is the vision for your entrepreneurial endeavor?
- How long do you envision the end-to-end (E2E) process to take to get to your end-state vision and what is the target date?
- What is your business knowledge learning curve and how much do you know about business?
- Summarize your potential way-ahead based on the informational inventory discussed.
This venue will provide helpful information in a two-fold format using specific and generic benchmarking in one area of life to another in your potential business-life plans.
When you look around and experience your day, everything may be asymmetrical, disproportionate, uneven, or unalike comparative to the problems you face. But you can take these asymmetric issues and learn lessons from every aspect of life and apply this in a symmetrical solution which fits this fix for your problem.
Knowing How-to-Think (H2T) through a challenge to visualize, describe, and translate that into a solution with a good deliberate decision-making process and adaptable “troop” or business-life leading procedure.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) reports numbers of attrition with approximately half of businesses surviving less than five (5) years.
Why not take advantage of learning by getting dirty with sleeves up, leveraging years of experience and dedication?
This blog is geared to provide you with a combination of two subjects which may interest you. Or not. But looking at many successful businessmen throughout history a major success factor was their ability to look at a new task from a different perspective.
You need to increase your chances for success. You can achieve this through a process teaching you How-to-Think (H2T) rather than What-to-Think (W2T) and be mentally and physically prepared to get from Swamp Ugly to the top of Mount Success.
I love the mountains and being outdoors, so I always try to find ways to think apply learning to develop small vignettes of benchmarking fodder to transcend survival in the woods to survival in the world of business.
If you do not see the pattern of connection from bridging gaps on difficult mountain treks to business problems, then hopefully at least you may get some good survival hints for the next time you go hiking.
God bless and be safe!
